During her first-ever concert in the Philippines, Olivia Rodrigo made a significant impact by donating all net profits from ticket sales to Jhpiego Philippines, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving women’s health and well-being. Held at the Philippine Arena, one of the largest indoor venues globally, the October 5 concert drew a sold-out crowd of 55,000, making it Rodrigo’s biggest show to date.
Rodrigo, who is half Filipina, took the opportunity to celebrate her heritage and support a cause close to her heart. Through her nonprofit initiative, Fund 4 Good, Rodrigo directed the concert proceeds to Jhpiego’s work in providing reproductive healthcare, disease prevention, and health education to women and girls in underserved communities across the Philippines. Rodrigo shared on Instagram that visiting Jhpiego’s local office inspired her, noting her admiration for the organization’s work and the positive impact it has on local communities.
